U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

The US Environmental Protection Agency mission involves ensuring that American have clean air, land and water.  When Congress writes an environmental law, the EPA implements it by writing regulations.  EPA often sets national standards that states and tribes enforce through their own regulations.

In January 2011 the US Environmental Protection Agency began requiring utilities to track and report SF6 emissions
